Rocky Tenn Farm has been blessed with other Champions over the years. Owner, Jesse Rainer has taken one of our colts and a gelding to the Conformation Championships at the Rocky Mountain Horse International Show and brought home the blue with both. One of our mares, Tennessee Magic, was an International Champion under saddle. Eli and Jesse won the Men's Amateur at the International in 2001. There have been many other ribbons and titles and endless hours of work and fun.
The marvelous thing about the Mountain Horses is that all of these World and International Champions are also great trail horses. Mountain Horses are as close to bombproof as any horse can ever be. They love to be with people. They are nosey and want right in the middle of everything. (Take a look at Our Horses page to see stallion, Eli happily hanging out with a crowd of folks at Equitana.) Mountain Horses are good sensible horses with plenty of get up and go. All of our horses have been easy keepers which seems to be true of the entire breed. Once you own one, you will be hooked . . . and happily so!
